Robert Elstein is a poet, playwright, artist, director, filmmaker and teacher based in New York City. He is the author of several poetry books including Helen Arms, (2013, Green Zone) & The Hollandaise, (2006, Green Zone). Elstein is also the author and director of several plays for the stage. In 2010, Elstein was selected by John Ashbery to appear at the Unterberg Poetry Center at the 92nd Street Y’s Tenth Muse Reading. Elstein has taught theater and English for fifteen years in a New York City public school.
